The Minnesota Timberwolves are a victory removed from securing a first round upset about the Los Angeles Lakers, a victory of 116-113 in the game 4 of Sunday to get a 3-1 series lead.
In a game that went back and forth for all 48 minutes, the Timberwolves Uble were to pull away because of a series of coupling games in the last 40 seconds. Firstly, Jaden McDaniels made a layout while he got F Atrad by Austin Reaves with 39.1 seconds to bind the game on 113-113. McDaniels hit the subsequent free throw to give his team a one point lead.
McDaniels played a strict defense on Luka Doncic on the incoming after his free throws, with the Lakers-star stumbling on Midden Court at 33 seconds. Los Angeles was forced to call a time out, but McDaniels came up with a handle on the Lebron James pass with another 30 seconds.
While the Timberwolves tried to add their lead in the last seconds, Anthony Edwards drove to the edge, but lost the ball and saw it passing by 10.1 seconds. Timberwolves coach Chris Finch, however, disputed the call, which was destroyed and ruled as an error on James. With the Lakers about the error limit, Edwards went to the free saucepine and made bush attempts to give the Timberwolves ahead of 116-113.
