Four people were killed on Saturday morning when a small plane crashed in the center of Illinois after hitting a set of electric lines.
The accident occurred around 10:15 am local time at County Line Road in Trilla, Illinois, about three miles south of Matton in the County of Colles, according to the Police of the State of Illinois and the Sheriff’s Office of the County of Colles. Trilla is about 200 miles south of Chicago.
The National Transport Security Board said that a single C -engine plane hit the electric lines and crashed into a field. The forensic of County of Colles said that the two men and two women aboard the plane died in the accident. Their names have not launched their legs while the authorities work to contact their families.
Some remains of the plane ended up in County Line Road after the accident. The Sheriff County Sheriff said that it would remain closed at least until Sunday while the FAA and the NTSB investigate.
