A suspect has been tasks in police custody on Thursday after a shooting at Florida State University in Tallahassee, left six Kured people.
The state of the victims was not known immediately. Details about the person in custody have not yet released their legs.
FSU wrote in X shortly after 12 pm that an active shooter was informed in the students’ union and instructed those on the campus to take refuge in their place. The classes were canceled by the university until Friday, and the sporting events in Tallahassee were canceled over the weekend.

A refuge warning in its place remains in force.

The FBI director, Kash Patel, said he was informed about the situation, and the deputy director of the FBI, Dan Bongino, confirmed that the office was on the scene in FSU.

“At this time, the details are still being developed, and we still do not have specific information to share.
