A convicted children’s killer who was sentenced to death in 2014 but received a switched sentence to pass life imprisonment under the former Joe Biden faces the possibility of death again in Louisiana.
A federal jury of Louisiana condemned Thomas Sanders, now 67 years old, or kidnapping and killing Lexis Roberts, 12 years in Las Vegas in 2010 and sentenced him to death, the first death penalty imported in a federal court in the western district of Louisiana.
Sanders was one of the 37 inmates of the death of death that received a switching sentence of Biden just before the 46th president left office. On Monday, a grand jury in the parish of Catahoula accused Sanders for state positions.
“It seemed scandalous that President Biden used this power of clemency to travel the judgment of the Children’s Killer,” said the district prosecutor of the Catahoula parish, Brad Burget, Fox News Digital. “Whatver Your Politics are notesn’t matter. This is a 12-year -old that mother be brutally killed by Mr. Sanders. WHERE-HOLD-OUDISIANA, WHERE-OLDENIANA– HEAD AND ONCE IN THE CHEST WITH A 22-CALIBER RIFLE AND THIN SLIT HER THROAT with to Homemade Knife.

He and Solen began to leave, and about two months after their relationship, they decided to make a road trip to the Grand Canyon on the weekend of Labor Day that year, according to the Department of Justice.

It was his return home that Sanders led to the I-40 towards an Arizona desert and fatally shot Suerten. He then forced Lexis to enter his vehicle and traveled through the country with the 12 -year -old girl, keeping her captive for several days until they arrived in Louisiana.

In a wooded area of the Catahoula parish, Sanders shot the girl four times and cut off his throat. The hunters found their body in October 2010, and there was a national search for the perpetrator. Angelly’s authorities caught him at a truck stop at Mississpipi in November of that year.

“This child suffered a horrible death,” Burget said. “And I think the only penalty for Sanders is the death penalty. The federal prosecutor did a wonderful job and presented the case to his jury, sought justice and obtained justice for Alexis and Re -Family. And there Joe Bides to get rid of him.
“Joe Biden decided to undo that with the signature of his signature.”
It was Biden’s decision to commute Sanders’ sentence in what Burget believes that it was an abuse of authority that led the district prosecutor to present the case to a grand jury of the Catahoula parish on Monday “and see what Mr. Sanden” is the destination at the state level.

“I think we will succeed, but only time will say it,” he said. “I will put it in the hands of a jury … When the jury makes a decision, you must respect that. Respect for the jury of Catahoula Parrish will make the right decision when the case presents them.”
In Louisiana, Brug explained, the district prosecutor does not have the ability to charge anyone with a capital crime that entails a life imprisonment. Such cases are presented to a large jury.

When Sanders was arrested in 2010, he was arrested for federal charges. There was an order for his trial outside the Catahoula parish that was never executed due to federal prosecution, Burget explained.
“Therefore, I introduced it to the Grand Jury that this is adjusted on Monday,” said the district prosecutor. Burget presented evidence to the Grand Jury in the Court on Monday, at which time they decided to accuse Sanders for state charges.
