Another student protester of Pro-Palestine Columbia was arrested by federal immigration authorities in Vermont on Monday, in the midst of the repression of the Trump administration about the alleged Hamas supporters representing possible threats to national security.
Mohsen Mahdawi, a green card holder born in Palestinian who lives in Vermont, was arrested while in an immigration interview in a field office of immigration and citizenship services of the United States in Colchester, Vermont, according to a presentation of the court that challenges his ruling.
The sentence has been convicted as “immoral” and “illegal” by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont.
The Trump Administration has been taking energetic measures against generalized anti-Semitism in university campuses, after years of pro-pro-palestinian protests that interrupt classes throughout the country.

A video posted on social networks on Monday seemed to show that Mahdawi was escorted out of the building in the wives by the officials responsible for enforcing the law, including one with a jacket that identifies him as a national security investigation agent.
The National Security Department and ICE did not respond immediately to the request for Fox News Digital comments.
According to the presentation of the court, Mahdawi co -founded the Union of Palestinian students in Columbia in the autumn of the Hamas terrorist attack of October 7. He founded the group with Mahmoud Khalil, another Pro-Palestinian activist who was arrested by federal immigration officials under the Trump administration earlier this year.
The document says that Mahdawi was studying philosophy in Columbia and hoped to graduate from the university in May. He also says that Mahdawi was an organizer of the protests in Columbia until he retreated from leadership in March. The presentation states that it is a “legal permanent resident” of the United States.

The United States District Judge, William Sessions, ruled on Monday that Mahdawi cannot be eliminated from the United States or the Vermont state pending a new review of the Court.
Mahdawi’s trial was summarily convicted by the two US senators of Vermont, Bernie Sanders, who identifies as an independent, and Peter Welch, a Democrat, as well as the only member of the State Congress, Becca Balint, a Democrat.

The three issued a joint statement on Monday identifying Mahdawi as resident of White River Junction, Vermont.
The statement said that Mahdawi entered an immigration office for “what was supposed to be the final step in his citizenship process” and was arrested and eliminated handcuffed by simple reeds, armed people, with their faces covered. “

“This is immoral, inhuman and illegal,” the three said. “Mr. Mahdawi, a legal resident of the United States, must receive due process under the law and immediately released from detention.”
