Matthew Lawrence faced a fear of a decade by competing in “The Masked Singer.”

“I have a little scenic fear when it comes to singing in front of great audiences, you believe it or not. And acting is a completely different thing for me,” he explained.

Lawrence shared a story of a “crazy” Broadway audition in the past where he said nothing in front of a full crowd and had to run out of the stage.

“I passed, you know, the last decade more or less say that nothing singing, and I was really acting for fear,” Lawrence said.
