Democratic strategist James Carville said he believes that host Bill Maher was deceived by the duration of President Donald Trump’s charm at his recent White House meeting.
The former Bill Clinton advisor and his Coanfrerion to Hunt criticized the host of “Real Time with Bill Maher” for having the meeting in a part of his “Politics War Room” podcast that was released on Saturday and marked by Mediaite.
“I think the problem that people have with Bill, I have the same son of leading legitimacy and credit to this,” said Carville, saying that Maher is normalizing Trump, who said “S —-” in the consumption of the United States.

Maher, a pulmonary time critic or Trump, had dinner with Trump at the White House earlier this month. While finally recapitated the meeting of his HBO show last week, the host married how “kind and measured” that the president was about Doens.
“I never felt that I had to walk on egg shells around it,” Maher told his audience “in real time.” “And honestly, I voted for Clinton and Obama, but I would never feel comfortable talking to them in the way I could talk to Donald Trump. This is how it was put.

“I had the opportunity to go to the White House and talk to the president and not give up my principles. It seems that nobody noticed that,” said Maher. “I did not go to Maga. I had the opportunity to talk to Donald Trump and tell him things that maybe he never listens, literally to tell power. Shouldn’t I take that opportunity?”

In his program, Hunt told Carville that he thought that Maher had “had” had “or fooled to find Trump charming.
“I think Bill Maher was. It was there and he talked about what Trump was pleasant.
“But, you know, Bill is only the last of a complete series of people who obtained personal charm, if you wish, or some really bad people,” Hunt continued.
Carville intervened, stating that although he considers Maher as a “friend”, he thinks he was also deceived.
