Connecticut man allegedly held captive for 20 years breaks silence

The 32 -year -old man who accused his stepmother, Kimberly Sullivan, or kept him captive for 20 years in his waterbury, Connecticut, home, spoke for the first time fleeing the house.

The man, who wanted to be identified only as “S”, issued a statement on Tuesday through David Guarino or say the survivors, who represents him as a spokesman.

“I am much better and stronger than the day the first answer attended me about my house. I am more than grateful for the attention I have appealed as then,” he said in the statement. “For all health professionals who have helped me and nourished, thanks. In addition to all their attention, I appreciated the opportunity to have my first birthday party to celebrate the 32nd compliance.”

Guarino declined to comment.

“S” allegedly set fire to the house he shared with his stepmother on February 27, the Count first replies that he wanted his freedom.

According to an order of judgment for Sullivan, “S” said he was a hero in a storage closet without 8 -foot by 9 feet without air conditioning or heat and without access to a bath for 20 years. It was supposedly maintained within the closet 22–24 hours per day.

“S” told the Police that two sandwiches and two small bottles of water were allowed every day, one of which would use use to bathe. He said he eliminated his waste with water and newspaper bottles. The man weighed less than 70 pounds when he responds for the first time found him after fire.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Sullivan’s lawyer, Ioannis Kaloidis, denied that Sullivan knew something about the alleged abuse.

“I can tell him that the accusations were that this individual claims to have imprisoned in the leg in that house until the day of the fire,” said Kaloidis. “And my client firmly denies that there is some imprisonment. As for the whole story, there is much that advance will be released in the course of the trial, hopefully, because the appropriate place for the release of any additional information.”
