When asked if the leaders of the Democratic Party must be more vocal, Khanna quickly said yes.
“We need more of our leadership. And you know, if you are not willing to speak to someone who is taken from their home and deported without due process, you probably should not be in the elective office at this time,” he said. “We need Democrats to speak, not only in the economy. We need to talk about civil freedoms, about the rights of immigrants and the rights of universities.”

“I think it would be fine in California. He was a general prosecutor. He was a district prosecutor. Many people are concerned about public security in California, we have to address the construction of housing,” Khanna said about Harris. “Then I would have a lot of support if you do.
