A judge sentenced a former Disney World employee to three years in prison after the park’s menu system pirate to eliminate peanut allergy information, add blasphemies and change the sources.

Michael Scheuer, 40, or Winter Garden, Florida, will turn three years in a federal prison and must write their computers and pay $ 687,776.50 in restitution to the victims, according to Fox 35.

Scheuer declared himself guilty of charges in January.

He had worked as Menu Production Manager for Disney and was an answer for the creation and distribution of all restaurant menus, including digital menus, Fox 35 reported on June 13, 2024.

Scheuer’s dismissal was “controversial and … not considered as friendly,” according to a federal complaint, which claimed that Scheuer “made several menu changes that threaten health and public safety,” according to the exit.

The complaint says that Scheuer added blasphemies and changed the price of some articles in the menus. He also says he sent multiple login requests, than prevention more than a box of employees to access their accounts and systems.

None of its changes reached printed or digital versions of the menu, but the complaint said the damages exceeded $ 150,000.

The FBI assaulted Scheuer’s house on September 23 and confiscated at least four computers.

Initially, Scheuer denied any participation or deficiency when the FBI interrogated him, claiming that Disney “was trying to frame him because they were worried about him and the conditions under what was over.”

The lawyer David Haas, who represents Scheuer, said that his client had a disability that hit his job in Disney, according to Fox 35.

“He had a medical event that turned out to be,” said Haas. “Disney then did not respond to his consultations about why he was suspended, and then the suspension was inexplicated changed to a termination.”

“Disney refused to provide an answer of why he was fired and did not accommodate him,” Haas continued. “Hey Subfrefly filed a EEOC complaint. I hope you present the side of my client’s story vigorously.”

Scheuer was originally accused of a position to knowingly cause the transmission of a program, information, code or command to a protected computer and causing intentionally damage with authorization exceeding $ 5,000.
