The former star of “The Real Housewives of Orange County”, Lydia McLaughlin, cries the loss of her brother Geoffrey Shyam Stirling.
On Thursday night, Stirling died at the age of 45 after he was fired and died the duration of an alter altercation with a police officer after traffic in Newport Beach, California, according to a press release published by the City Department Department of the City.
“My family and I are devastated by the loss of my brother. We are grateful for the effusion of love and support of friends, family and community. We ask for the privacy of kindness while we cry,” said McLaughlin, 44, to People Magazine in a statement.
McLaughlin did not respond immediately to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.

McLaughlin’s father and Stirling, Scott Stirling, who is the president and CEO of the Terranova Transmission Company in Canada, also shared a statement with people.

“Geoffrey was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend,” said Scott. “He was a television producer, screenwriter, actor and model. He attended the church every Sunday and supported multiple charities. We already missed him.”
According to the Newport Beach PD press release, Stirling, a resident of Laguna Beach, California, was riding his motorcycle on the Pacific coast road when a police officer stopped him for alleged traffic rape around 9:15 pm.

“Shortly after being arrested, Stirling became little cooperative and assaulted the officer,” said the statement. “Duration The resulting violent altercation, Stirling managed to eliminate the Taser issued by the officer’s service belt department and tried to deploy it several times against the officer. At that time, a shooting involved in the officer occurred.”
“The additional officers responded to the scene and lent medical help to Stirling until the staff of the Newport Beach Fire Department arrived,” the statement continued. “Stirling was transported to a local hospital, where he was later declared deceased.”
The Police Department added: “According to the California Law, the California Department of Justice (DOJ) was notified and responded to the scene to carry out an independent investigation.”
“Once your investigation is completed, the findings will become the DAJ special prosecution section for an independent review,” the statement continued. “This is still an active investigation.”
