The legendary presenter of the Wink Martindale Game Program, confirmed Fox News Digital. I was 91 years old.
Martindale, who was surrounded by a family, including his wife Sandra, at the time of his death, had a 74-year-old race in Hollywood, organizing a series of games programs such as “Tic-Tac-Dough”, “High Rollers” and “Gambit”. Martindale was also a close friend of Elvis Presley.
In 2019, Martindale told Fox News Digital that “with Elvis Presley on a hot July night in 1954”. In 1956, Martindale was the host of “Teenage Dance Party” when Presley appeared.

What was most surprised by Presley was that Presley was a donor.

“Very few people knew that the cold literally millions and millions of dollars to beneficial organizations not only in this country but throughout the world,” Martindale said.
“He was a great giver. If he were your friend, he was your friend until the day you died. I mean, he would always be your friend and I would do anything for you that you needed to do. It was that son of a person.”

Martintale’s wife, 49, Sandra, went out with Presley, just before marrying Priscilla in 1967.
Sandra, who married Wink in 1975, accredited Presley for her marriage to the game presenter.
“Elvis is responsible for being married to Wink,” he said in a 2015 interview, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“When [Martindale] He said it was from Tennessee, I said: “It must be a good guy,” because I loved the state. I loved all the boys. I loved everything in the state of Tennessee because Elvis was a wonderful part of my life. ”

“When I was a child in Jackson, Tennessee, one of my playmates, Jimmy McCord, could not say ‘Winston’, what is my first name. I had an impediment of speech and came out playing like ‘Winkky’. So Winston became Winkky, and then I got into the business and wink a wink!

Martindale also organized “The Last Word”, “The Great Getway Game”, “Trivial Pursuit”, “Debt” and “Instant Recall”, turning his career.
Martindale is survived by his daughters Lisa, Lyn and Laura, his grandson and great -grandmarry, his “honorary” Eric son and his Chihuahua type.
