Exclusive: Sens. Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley are demanding information from the Inspector General of the Department of Justice about whether any unclean or “unrealized” confidential human source of the DOJ agencies beyond the FBI were in the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

In December, and after the launch of the Horowitz report, Grassley, R-IIWA, and Johnson, R-Wisconsin, demanded information on whether the human sources confidential of the DOJ agencies beyond the FBI were used on January 6, 2021.

“It is fine, the American people received transparency and complete clarity about the total scope of the Department of Justice and the participation of their component agencies in the J6 events,” said Grassley and Johnson to Fox News Digital in a Jint statement. “Inspector General Horowitz must be thorough in his focus and shed light in each corner of the department that supervises.”
Grassley and Johnson added: “We hope that Horowitz will bring purpose to this investigation fully complying with our requests.”
A Horowitz spokesman did not respond immediately to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.
