According to reports, immigration and customs control officials (ICE) and Doge service of the United States seek to add a Medicare database to their arsenal of tools to use in their repression against illegal immigrants. The Washington Post published its report on the alleged plan of the agencies on Wednesday, citing a person familiar with the matter and internal documents.
The Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) service centers supposedly manage the database, whose personal information, including the addresses, requested by ICE, according to the position. The database is known as the Integrated Data Repository (IDR), which acts as a file for beneficiary information, Medicare claims and more.

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump issued a memorandum destined to prevent illegal immigrants from being benefits through the Social Security Law, including Medicare. The memorandum establishes a program of fraud of Medicare and Medicaid and expands the existing execution initiatives of the Social Security Administration.

Doge’s access to the critical IRS system containing taxpayer information is iminent
Elon Musk, who directs Doge, has talked about “waste and fraud” in federal rights programs, including Medicare.
“Waste and fraud in law spending, which is most of the federal expenditure, is the right, so, as, the largest to eliminate. That is the type of medium vision, perhaps $ 6-700 billion a year,” Musk told Fox “Larry.”

The alleged joint initiative between Dogs and ICE seems to align with the repressions of the Trump administration on illegal immigration and government waste.
