The Israeli forces have bombarded the Arab Hospital of Al-Ahli in the city of Gaza, the largest operation hospital in northern Gaza, destroying its emergency unit, main entrance and medical oxygen supplies.
Critical patients remained in the street after fleeing the attack in the early hours of Sunday morning, and a doctor reported that at least three people, including a child who was in oxygen, died due to the hurried evacuation.
According to the Reuters news agency, the hospital staff begged evacuating the building patients after a man said he received a call from someone who identified with Israeli security, shortly before the attack.
The authorities in Gaza have condemned the bombing, noting that the Al-Ahli hospital was treating hundreds of patients when it was beaten by at least two missiles. Some 500 people were killed when Israel bombed the hospital in October 2023.
Israel has repeatedly attacked hospitals in the Palestinian enclave with impunity through its devastating war. The Gaza Media Office says that Israel has pointed to 36 hospitals since he launched his war on October 7, 2023.
The Israeli army said the hospital was attacked because it was used for a “command and control” center by the “Hamas terrorist organization.” In an X publication, he said that “the steps were tasks to reduce the possibility of damage to civilians and the hospital, including providing an early warning in the area …”
Israel has affirmed in the past that attacks against civil infrastructure, including hospitals, are necessary to attack armed fighters. However, he has no provision tests to support his claims.
The Government Media Office in Gaza described the attack as a “flagrant violation of all international letters and Geneva conventions that prohibit the orientation of medical facilities.”
He said in a statement that the Al-Ahli hospital was “one of the oldest and most important health institutions” in Gaza, describing the bombing as an “atrocious” and “terrible” crime.
The Palestinian group Hamas described the attack on the hospital as a “new war crime,” and said that the Israeli army did not take into account humanitarian laws and norms. Hero of the United States responsible for “brutal crime.”

Tareq Abu Azzoum from Al Jazeera, informing from Deir El-Balah, in northern Gaza, said the bombing was a “dramatic climb.”

“They are very high risk patients who need to be closely monitored, not lying or fighting in the streets trying to find their way to another medical installation.”
“It is quite horrible, and people really remain in that region without a place to go at this point. And it is an area that the surroundings are very attacked, unfortunately,” he said, referring to Israel.

A total of 50,933 people have been killed and 116,045 injured since the beginning of the war in October 2023, the ministry added in its last daily update.
Earlier on Saturday, Israel ordered the residents of southern Khan Younis and the center of Nuseirat to leave immediately, warning of imminent attacks “with great force.” Also on Saturday, the Israeli army said he had surrounded Rafah, cutting him to the rest of Gaza.
Forced displacement orders occurred when Hamas said he had fired three rockets from the Israeli territory of Gaza Strip on Saturday.
The Israeli army said its Air Force intercepted the three rockets. No victims were reported.
