Rhode Island Senator Jack Reed, wrote to the Secretary of National Security, Kristi, regarding the plans to begin the application that day, after President Donald Trump gave discretion about when to begin the application of the law of the era of chronically delayed Bush.

“After the recommendations of the September 11 commission, Congress approved, and then President George W. Bush signed, the 2005 ID Law of 2005, which requires minimum security standards for driving licenses or other identification of anyone who writes to address a national flight.”

“Recognizing the time and complexity involved in the change to driving licenses and real ID identification cards, President Trump signed legislation in 2020 that confirmed the discretion of the Secretary of National Security on when to begin to enforce this requirement.”

The delays persisted to three presidential administrations due to concerns about the complexity of updating 50 state systems, seven territorial and a district and other systems.

Then, when the Covid-19 pandemic coup, state agencies received more maneuvering margin to promulgate real ID until DHS was finally resolved on the date of May 7 for this year.

“According to the TSA, about 20 percent of air travelers still use a form of identification that does not meet the real identification requirements,” Droved wrote.

“In fact, millions of Americans do not yet have a real identification composition license or an alternative way of acceptable identification, such as a passport or a military identification card.”

He cited that the public comment of the Secretary in the White House does not want to see anyone delayed or unable to address a flight so that an identification of real ID that complies with ID will be requested.

“Since many travelers are likely to have no compliance identification for May 7, describe how they will ensure that they are not delays in the TSA security control points and what steps the TSA is real Whoot media portpots,” Reed concluded.

After its 2005 passage, Real ID became one of the few political issues that had support and cross opposition.

Conservative and anti-ilegal immigration groups praised the work of the Bush Administration, while weapon rights groups and libertarian mentality legislators warned that it expanded the proverbial “older brother” omnipical.

Labor and liberal groups such as Hillary Clinton also expressed reservations on the law.

They found a recent agreement of the representative. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., Who wrote in X that people who believe that real identification is reinforced by electoral integrity will be “very disappointed.”

“Someone has a song for you, or you are committed to illusions. Please, do not shoot the messenger,” Massie said.

In a statement on its website, DHS retreated Royal ID claims would be used to build a new “database” in apparent response to concerns similar to Massie.

“Real ID is a national set of standards, not a national identification card,” the agency wrote.

“Real ID does not create a federal database of information from the driver’s license. Each jurisdiction continues to issue its own unique license, keeps its own records and controls that obtains record records and under what circumstances,” Saint.

“The purpose of real identification is to make our identity documents more consistent and safe.”

DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, Tricia McLaughlin, Told Fox News Digital In A Statement: “Real Ids Make Identification Harder To Forge, Thwarting Criminals and Terrorists. 81% of Air Travelers Hold Id-Combore IDS, IDS, IDS, IDSAL AND AIRPORT AUTHORITIES TO INFORM THE PUBLIC, FACILITATION COMPLIAnce, CURB WAIT Times and Prevent fraud.

“The DHS responds to the official correspondence through official channels,” McLaughlin added.
