Joseph Aoun makes the comment when the Lebanese army says that it frustrates a rocket attack against Israel.
The Lebanese president, Joseph Aoun, says that he is not urgently taken to disarm Hezbollah in unfavorable circumstances while the Israeli army continues to launch mortal air attacks in the country in violation of a fire in November.
In comments to journalists after a meeting with a Patriarch Maronite to mark Easter on Sunday, the former army chief said that he considers disarming that the group aligned with Iran is “a sensitive and delicate problem” that must be handled with consideration to preserve the national páqueja.
“Any domestic problem controversial in Lebanon can only be addressed through consciousness, non -confrontational dialogue and communication. If not, we will take Lebanon to ruin,” Aoun said.
The Trump administration has been applying sustained pressure on Beiruut to press for the Hezbollah screwdor, which leads Aoun to announce last week that he hopes to complete the end of 2025, the first time that a senior official establishes any deadline.
Aoun’s comments on Sunday occurred shortly after the Lebanese government praised the Army for frustrating an imminent attack against Israel, the first from the high the fire of November with Hezbollah, which Israel has violated on numerous occasions.
The Lebanese army launched images of confiscated rockets and launch platforms and said it arrested multiple people previously involved in rocket attacks against Israel as well.
It was reported that the raid that led to the confiscated ammunition had tasks in the southern Sidon area of Lebanon.

Hezbollah has not immediately reacted to Sunday’s statements, but its leader Naim Qassem said Friday that the group “will not let anyone disarms it, especially the military continue to occupy parts of the south of Lebanon.
Hezbollah formed after the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982 and grew for decades to possess a substantial political and military power. This included forcing Israel to leave his occupation from South Lebanon in 2000 and fight Israel to a dead point in a 2006 war.
But the organization has lost many leaders in Israeli murders, as well as a lot of military team since the beginning of the Israel War against Gaza in October 2023 and must withdraw their military forces from the south of Lebanon as part of the case fire.
Israeli air attacks kill two
The Lebanon Ministry of Public Health said on Sunday that two people died in two Israeli air attacks in the south of Lebanon.
Israeli combat aircraft fired at least two missiles in a house in Hula, a village in the Nabatieh governorate, killing a person, the ministry said.
An attack by Israeli drones also attacked a vehicle in Kaouteriyet As-Siyad, killing another person, he said.

The Israeli army said that one of its strikes in the south of Lebanon killed a boss of a Hezbollah unit responsible for smuggling weapons and funds for the group, even throughout the country’s border with Syria.
The army added that the target man was “widely involved” in Hezbollah’s efforts for revitalization after the duration of the war of group blows.
After killing two other people on Saturday, the Israeli army also said they were members of Hezbollah.
