LeBron, Lakers lose to Timberwolves in Game 3 of playoffs | Basketball News

LeBron James obtains 38 years, but the Lakers Lakers fall against the Minnesota Timberwolves in game 3 of his NBA playoff series of the west conference of the first round.

Jaden McDaniels scored 30 points, Anthony Edwards had 29, and the Timberwolves of Minnesota finished strong for a 116-104 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in game 3 of his first-round playoff series of the West Conference in Minneapolis.

Julius Randle added 22 points for Minnesota, which took a 2-1 advantage in the best seven series. Naz Reid and Donte Divinnzo left the bank to fragment 11 and 10 points, respectively.

LeBron James scored a maximum of 38 points in 13 of 210 shots and caught 10 rebounds to lead Los Angeles on Friday night. Austin Reaves scored 20 points, thanks in large part to five triples, and Luka Donc scored 17 points, but made only 6 or 16 shots from the field and 2 of 8 from the range of 3 points. Doncic also had five of the 19 Los Angeles ball losses, but contributed eight assists and seven rebounds.

The Timberwolves surpassed the Lakers 62-46 in the second half.

Doncic led to the edge and made a backward bridge for even the score at 103-103 with 4:37 for the last quarter. Los Angeles had continued 100-93 after Reid shot down a triple with 7:31 Remination.

The Timberwolves built their advantage at seven points in the next two minutes.

Edwards put Minnesota again at the Top 106-103 with a triple from the top of the key with 4:19 to travel. Reid continued with a triple from the left wing to be 109-103.

After Reaves made one of the two free throws to reduce the deficit to 109-104, Edwards Tok Control again. He drove against James and ended with a tray to increase the advantage of the Timberwolves to 111-104 with 2:18 remaining.

Edwards then put the local crowd in Hysterical when he dripped between his legs and took a step back for a triple long to put 113-104 with 1:06 remaining.

Rui hashimura was lost a triple at the opposite end for the Lakers, and McDaniels joined the late increase with a triple from the right corner to put 116-104 with 39.1 remaining seconds.

The Timberwolves led 86-84 at the end of the third quarter.

An 8-0 race at the beginning of the third quarter allowed Minnesota to overcome the Lakers. Edwards and Randle hit consecutive triples to score the race, which ended when James scored in an allied overturning to get Los Angeles within 67-65.

Edwards demonstrated an outstanding racing play to give the Timberwolves a 76-72 advantage with 4:39 remaining in the third quarter. He drove the baseline and rose to a jump jumper for a dump.

The Lakers led 58-54 in half.

Game 4 is in Minneapolis on Sunday afternoon.

In two previous playoff games played on Friday, Gary Trent Jr and Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 37 points while bringing the bucks to a 117-101 return victory over Indiana Pacers visitors, cutting Milwaukee Seicte Sericte Sericte.

Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday in Milwaukee.

In Florida, Franz Wagner broke late with the consecutive driving rings about Kristaps Porzingis, and Orlando Magic, riding a suffocating defense and surviving a wild end, held the visitor Boston Celtics 95-93 in the game or his Steir Steirs.

Wagner finished with a maximum of 32 points and Paolo Bachero 29 for The Magic, who hero serves at home after losing the first two games of the best series of seven in Boston. Game 4 will also be played in Orlando on Sunday.
