An intruder was arrested on Monday near the headquarters of Unithedhealthcare in Minnesota, months after the company’s CEO was awarded in New York City.
The unidentified suspect was seen around 11 in the morning in a parking lot outside the corporate campus of Unitedhealthcare in the Minnetonka suburb of Minneapolis, said the spokesman for the city, Andy Wittenborg, to Associated Press.

The man appeared at a security control point where he was not supposed to be, Wittenborg said. Hello, possibly peacefully surrendered to the police about an hour later.
There was no threat to the public, police said. The FBI also responded to the scene.

The incident was not related to the murder of December 2024 of the CEO of Unitedhealthcare, Brian Thompson, who was shot dead outside his hotel in New York City.
Thompson was awarded while walking to an investor conference a few blocks away.
