Mother Jones angers dog lovers with report canines are bad for the environment

Wow.

Mother Jones published an article by her partner Progressive Outlet The Guardian on Saturday, which argued that, although dogs can be the best friend of man, they are the “villains” of Mother Nature.

The leftist magazine highlighted a new research, originally published by The Guardian, which concluded that dogs have “extensive and multiple” environmental impacts, disturb wildlife, contaminate river paths and contribute to carbon emissions. He identified how canines disturb native wildlife, birds on land.

An Australian review of existing studies published in Pacific Conservation Biology analyzed the attacks of dogs against other animals, discovering that it can explain the collapse of the colony of small penguins in Tasmania, while a study or animals taken to Zoowstralia Australity were Silvice attacks.

In the United States, the report continued, studies have found that deer, foxes and mobile cats were less active or avoided wild areas where dogs were allowed. Other Intel showed that insecticides of drugs for fleas and ticks kill aquatic invertebrates when they are washed in river tracks. The feces of dogs, meanwhile, can leave traces of smell and affect soil chemistry and plant growth.

The carbon footprint of a canine is also “significant”, according to the study.

A 2020 study found that the dry pet food industry had an environmental footprint that is around twice the earth’s land surface, with greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to the 60th country with the highest emissitism.

The owners of hairy friends are moving forward of deep fatality. They joined in Mother Jones’ report on X, and several users responded with photos of their own beloved dogs or wondered if a rival animal wrote it.

“A cat wrote this?” Columnist Tim Carny asked.

Others wasted why the liberal exit was trying to unneuneanh the bad in what is considered a universally loved animal.

“Is there any pleasant part of the thesis of insufferable life Kill Joys Won Attack?” Turkish girl Ana Kasparan Wondeed.

“The first environmentalists came to the cows and people said nothing. Now they want to sacrifice the dogs to save the planet? It is not a winning message of the net zero crowd, whose history is remarkably bad,” Gabriella Hoffman, Energy & Say.

The study suggested that a way to reduce the environmental impact of dogs is to “keep them whipped in the areas where restrictions are applied and for Montain a damping of the coasts of the coasts.”

The main author of the review, Professor Bill Bateman of the University of Curtin, perhaps anticipating a violent reaction of the pet owners, said that the investigation did not intend to be “censorship”, but that it aimed to raise awareness about the environmental impacts of the man’s best friend, according to the mother.

“Although we have pointed out these problems with dogs in natural environments … there is the other balanced side, that people will be likely to come out and really enjoy the environment that surrounds them, and maybe dey’re dey’re -re -it -itsing iting it, feels more, feels more,” he said.
