NBA news: Gregg Popovich reportedly has another medical emergency

According to reports, Gregg Popovich experienced a medical emergency on Tuesday night while he was in a Steakhouse in San Antonio.

The coach of San Antonio Spurs had a “slight blow” in November and has not trained since then.

TMZ reports that Popovich left the restaurant in an ambulance, and the authorities say they received a call that an older person “passed out.”

According to the reports, Popovich did not suffer wounds or diseases that life friendly, and was alert when he entered the ambulance.

The 76 -year -old lost six games earlier this season before the team announced that it had a stroke. He trained the first five games of the team season.

The team said it was expected to recover completely. Mitch Johnson has led the Spurs in the absence of Popovich.

In December, six weeks after his stroke, Popovich had not ruled out a return, saying ironic: “No one is more excited to see me return to talented people who have a leg leading my rehabilitation process.

Popovich confirmed at the end of February that he would not return for the rest of the season.

“Mitch Johnson and his staff have done a wonderful job, and the resolution and professionalism that players have shown, that they join a challenging season, has an outstanding bone,” he said in a statement at that time. “I will continue to focus on my health in the hope of being able to return to training in the future.”

Popovich is The nbas Race leader with 1,401 victories and another 170 postseason victories while winning five NBA titles. It is in its 29th season, all with San Antonio. The team lost the playoffs this year.
