When Ralph ran for president in 2000, he sacrificed a simple logic for an offer that would finally help “spoil” the elections for the Democratic ticket in which I had the privilege of being with Al Gore. In Wijzer’s opinion, the two parties were indistinguishable ideological.
That argument had no foundation. There were significant differentials in politics between the George W. Bush-Dress Cheney Ticket, which ended up victorious, partly thanks to more close and ours. For beyond, this was not really about “two -part duo”, as he coined. It was his desire to push Gore and the left Democratic party.

Today, or of course, no one can reasonably argue that the two parties are not different ideological. The central problem in Washington, DC, is that they are too divided to do a lot.
He thought that most of the Americans yearn for the time when Republicans and Democrats worked together to find bipartisan solutions to big problems, many members of the Congress refuse to work together in immigration, the debit and the ishis of isshis our prosperity and common security. In fact, today, with the Republicans who control the camera and the Democrats, the Senate, bipartisanship is the only way to approve any legislation.
While undoing the divisions that affect our political system will not be simple, there is a step that can be tasks, and begins to give voters a real alternative in the presidential elections of 2024.
Most of the time, when Americans cast their votes for president and vice president, their vote only has two viable tickets: one nominated by the Democratic Party and the other by the Republican Party. But what would happen if they had a third viable option?
The process to add that the third viable option is not only arduous and slow, but also varies from state to state and in the Columbia district.
Today, there are no labels, a non -profit organization that I would co -challenge, is laying the foundations for such campaign in 2024. Since the beginning of 2022, our team has been working diligently throughout the country so as not to have observal labels, typifying a potential atcutal a potential a potential a potential a powerful atalax or sign of voting requests in each state.
If we are successful, a unit ticket, composed of a Democrat and a Republican, could appear to voters right next to the Republican and Democratic nominees.
We think about this as an insurance policy for the country, an option that will be deployed if, and only if, the two main nominees of the party do not sacrifice voters an option of candidates who would like to vote for the partisan division. We will consistently monitor the feeling of Americans through research and surveys, as well as public surveys, to make that determination.
In this and other ways, the effort of any label could not be more different from the “spoiler” campaign that adheres two decades ago.
First, if no label would last his voting lines to a presidential ticket, the presidential candidate would be a Democrat and the vice presidential candidate would be republican or vice versa. As such, it would be a call to some voters who could otherwise have voted for the Democratic ticket, and other voters who could otherwise have voted for the Republican ticket. And it would be a call to other voters who would not have voted for them either.
These nominees would be selected by a group of diverse and distinguished citizens who served in a committee, and would be ratified by delegates who would go to the National Non -Labels Convention planned for April 2024. This convention approximately six after the sixth brand after six after six later hours. What historical has clarified who will be the main nominees of the party.
Second, the effort of 2024 of no labels is not designed to take the nominees Democrats to the candidates to the left or Republicans to the right. Rather, it is intended to force one or both parties to appeal to the growing majority of the United States. If they do not, our vote will create the opening for a unit ticket that will.
According to recent CNN surveys, the number of people who identify as independent is increasing, which now includes 41% of the electorate, compared to only 28% who described themselves as Democrats and 31% who described themselves as Republicans. These numbers are more evidence that there could be a potential path towards victory for an independent ticket in 2024.
But if not an apple is not such a path in the coming months, no label will remain below, focused on the work that we have done the last decade to choose and organize the members of the camera and feel that have demonstrated the Rachrsthududdduddudduddudd Problem Solvers Caucus.

It seems that the Biden administration can already be beginning to recognize the imperative of appealing to the majority of common sense. President Joe Biden recently signed a republican measure to demolish a draft Washington’s law, DC, which reduces sanctions for those who commit violent crimes, and announced more strict border control policies.
Our hope is that Republicans compete for the nomination of their party, see in a similar way the need to reach beyond their basis to appeal to divisive policies and policies.
In the end, there is no hope of labels No Have to sacrifice our vote to an independent unit ticket. We want the parties to come to their senses. But judging by the angry and apocalyptic reactions of strategists in both parties when thinking about the insurance policy without labels, it is clear that party leaders now know that it could be a political cost to ignore most common assets. And that is a reason to expect a better future for our government and our country.
