The suspect accused of burning the mansion of the Governor of Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro on the weekend was released on bail when he allegedly committed the crime, said Fox News.
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Resident Cody Balmer, 38, gave bail and was due in court at the end of this week for a simple assault charge of 2023, chordination to judicial records. A source told Fox News that the case was related to a domestic dispute.
Balmer was prosecuted on Monday in relation to the incendiary fire, where he took the tongue from journalists trying to ask him questions. Speaking to Judge Dale Klein, Balmer identified himself as a former welder who is not currently employed, and declared that he had no savings or income.
Balmer also said that he had no history of substance or alcohol abuse, and said he had tasks of mental health medicines in the past, but that the pills “conduct [him] to different types of behavior. “The judge later denied Balmer’s bail request that his behavior endangered the community.
