Pong pong tree’s poison fruit: The real ‘suicide tree’ behind ‘White Lotus’ explained

The final of the “The White Lotus” season was recently broadcast, with the episode with the “Pong Pong Tree”, a plant with such poisonous fruit that the suicide tree is nicknamed “.

While spectators may think that this is just a plot device manufactured for a dramatic effect, the tree, its fruit and its murderous seeds are real.
