Prince Harry praises ‘quiet heroes’ of LA fires after labeled ‘disaster tourist’

Prince Harry joined the Hollywood actor John Travolta in the annual Legends of Aviation Awards in Los Angeles, Friday night.

Last year, the Duke of Sussex honored Princess Diana at the ceremony and also mocked the event presenter for “Dining Out” on the dance floor with her late mother in 1985.

However, it seemed that they were still good friends since Harry was previously included as a living legend in last year’s event for his role as Apache helicopter pilot in two military tours in 2007 and 2012.

A collector of old airplanes, who also has the title of Live Legend, Greg Herrick, said that Harry and Travolta joined “Like Brothers” at the Los Angeles event last night, according to the Telegraph.

In 2024, Harry called Travolta for his iconic dance in the White House with Princess Diana.

“I had a year when you danced with my mother. As you had told everyone here and continuous that they probably drew every night,” Hey joked.

“But look at us now! It’s great. So, if we don’t dance together, we’ll fly together.”

This year at the 2025 Legends of Aviation Awards, other celebrities, including Morgan Freeman, attended the ceremony full of stars.

Prince Harry honored lifeguards who had risk their lives to save those devastated by California’s fires.

“There are moments in life that reveal a lot about who we are, not only as individuals, but as people. Moments that prove our courage, compassion and our commitment to each other. And again and again, which I have seen that Datte responds to only once, however, we rarely have the opportunity to thank them,” Harry shared, according to people.

The Duke of Sussex concluded his comments praising the heroic lifeguards who put their lives on the line that revolved the Los Angeles fires.

“This community does not ask for attention or recognition … but tonight, we are going to give them, regardless, because in my experience, it is the people who do not expect or that, the ones who need it most and appreciate it more.”

Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, did not attend the Legends of Aviation Awards awards. The couple was seen in New York City two days ago, while the Duchess of Sussex spoke at the Hour Summit.

At that time, the star of “Family Tests”, Justine Bateman, criticized the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex for what she believed it was an “photography operation” inensible in the evacuation center for the victims.
