Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a high temporary Easter fire in his country’s war with Ukraine, said Kremlin on Saturday.

The war has been unleashed for more than three years and cost the lives of tens of thousands of people on both sides.

“Guided by humanitarian considerations, today from 6:00 p.m. to 00:00 from Sunday to Monday, the Russian side declares a Easter truce,” said Putin published by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Trump says that minerals deal with Ukraine to be signed next Thursday

“I order that all military actions be arrested for this period.”

In the video, Putin joins the chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.

The measure seemed to be mocked by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy, who said shortly after the announcement that Air Raid alerts were playing in Ukraine.

“As for another attempt to play with human lives: at this time, Air Raid alerts are spreading by Ukraine,” Zenskyy wrote in X while giving an update on the positions of the troops. He was not completely free that he was heading to the truce.

Trump says that the United States ‘will take a pass’ in the peace efforts of Ukraine if Russia refuses to play ball

“At 17:15, Russian attack drones were detected in our heavens. Ukrainian air defense and aviation have already committed to protect us. Shahed drones in our skies reveal the true attitude of Putin Townd Easter and towards human life.”

Zenskyy wrote that the Ukrainian forces were fighting in the Kursk region and occupying their positions.

“In the Belgorod region, our warriors have advanced and expand our control zone,” he wrote.

However, the Russian Ministry of Defense said its forces pushed the Ukrainian troops of one of its last remaining support points in the Kursk region of Russia, where the Ukrainian troops organized a surprise raid last year.

The high temporary fire occurs after President Donald Trump said Thursday that an 80 -page mineral agreement will sign with Ukraine in a week. The Treasury Secretary, Scott Besent, later modified that it would probably be signed on April 26.

The details about the agreement are still relatively unknown, although recent Bloomberg reports have suggested that the United States has supported their reimbursement demands for their help in the Ukraine fight against Russia from $ 300 billion to $ 100 billion.

On Friday, Trump said the United States “will only take a pass” in the peace efforts for Ukraine if Russian President Vladimir Putin refuses to accept the terms of high fire.

“If for any reason, one of the two parties makes it very difficult, we are just saying ‘You are silly, you are silly, you are horrible people’, and we are going to take a pass,” Trump told journalists. “But I hope we win” T to do that. “
