Harvard’s finance analysis of Openthbooks occurs when the institution is demanding the Trump administration for the freezing of its federal funds.

After refusing to comply with President Trump’s executive directives on anti -Semitism, Dei, the diversity of views and more, the Trump administration obtained $ 2.2 billion in subsidies of several years and $ 60 million in government contracts of several years. Harvard’s demand against the Trump administration establishes a struggle on the autonomy of higher education, and the University alleges in its demands against multiple federal agencies that the Trump administration violates school coercion.

Harvard University did not respond to the request for comments from Fox News Digital about this story.

“The university system of the United States remains the envy of the world and it is clarified that the advantage is a matter of national security,” said the Openthbook CEO, John Hart, Fox News Digital. “Harvard can lead the way in that process by rejecting totalitarian progressive fundamentalism and reviving US commitment to classical liberalism, true freedom of expression, true science about ‘science’ and the rigorous and open debate.”

Trump and Harvard's symbol

Until now, the Trump Administration has withdrawn $ 2.2 billion in subsidies of several years and $ 60 million in government contracts of several years, of Harvard about his challenge to the president’s demands.

In addition to Harvard’s breach to comply with the president’s executive orders, the Trump administration also accused Harvard of not informing large foreign donations, as required by law, and has opened an investigation into the matter. On Wednesday, the president signed an executive order that threatened to cut federal conferences and universities that do not reveal their foreign money sources.

Using data that Harvard has informed the Government that it was pursued to its foreign donations, Openthbooks discovered that, since 2017, Harvard has accepted at least $ 1.1 billion in gifts or contracts from foreign sources.

The main countries that contribute to Harvard are England and China, each of which has given Harvard $ 100 billion in the last eight years. According to Federal Law, universities must inform payments that exceed $ 250,000 from foreign sources.

Even before Trump’s commitment, Harvard understood that he had a real problem on the anti -Semitism side, says the expert

“As a private university, they are free to pursue any issue they like, as long as their campus remains within the limits of the Constitution, but that does not automatically entitle our tax money,” Hart added the Ivy Laguse to Fox.
