This is where things are on Monday, April 13:

Struggle

  • At least 34 people were killed and another 117, including 11 children, were savored by a Russian missile attack against the city of Northern Sumy of Ukraine, said the state emergency service of Ukraine. This was the deadliest attack against Ucrine this year.
  • The Ukraine Air Force said that its units intercepted and destroyed 43 or 55 Russian drones launched in Ukraine during the night. According to the reports, the attacks attacked the areas of the north, south and central of Ukraine.
  • The Russian forces captured the village of Yelyzavetivka in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, said the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
  • The Ministry of Defense in Moscow said that its units destroyed 12 Ukrainian drones over the Rostav region of Russia and one over the country’s Belgorod region.
  • The Ministry of Defense said that Ukraine carried out two attacks against Russia’s energy infrastructure in the last day despite a moratorium of 30 days of mutually agreed on energy attacks, according to the Interfax news agency.
  • The ministry also said that an Ukrainian F-16 combat plane had demolished, according to Interfax.

Policy and diplomacy

  • The president of Ukraine, Volodyymyr Zenskyy, requested “strong pressure” on Russia to end his war against kyiv after Moscow’s mortal attack against Sumy. Hello, he also said that “only dirty scum” could act like this.
