Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial will begin May 5 after judge denies delay request

A federal judge denied the request for Sean “Diddy” combs of a delay of two months in his case of sex trafficking.

Judge Arun Subramanian decided to maintain the planned start date in place, leaving the combs legal team approximately three weeks to complete the rapper defense against accusations of sexual trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping and more.

Diddy’s Friday’s audience attended his son, Justin Combs, and his mother, Janice combs.

Janice has appeared in most appearances in the court of the music tycoon while waiting for his judgment on May 5.

Diddy’s legal team requested a postponement of two months, or a pause, in the case of sex trafficking in a letter presented to the court on Wednesday.

The defense said that combs lawyers have not had “the necessary time to prepare” after the presentation of the government of the third accusation of overcoming. The latest version of the accusation appeared against Diddy on April 3, and the rapper was prosecuted on April 14.

The legal team focused on a new position against the rapper that could take him after bars for a minimum of 15 years. Diddy’s lawyers did not begin to recite the relationship of evidence with the last positions, which were in possession of the government before the updated accusation was presented, until April 4 and have not yet resorted to everything they need before the start date of the trial of May 5.
