Several people have been and other wounds in Vancouver after a driver led to a crowd at a Filipina street festival in the city of western Canada, according to the police.
Police said the incident occurred shortly after 8:00 pm on Saturday (0300 GMT on Sunday) in the sunset of the city in the Barcom neighborhood and the driver has been in custody.
The mayor of Vancouver, Ken Sim, said: “I am surprised and deeply sad for the horrible incident in the Lapu day event today.”
The festival commemorates an anti -colonial leader of the 16th century.
“Our thoughts are with all those affected and with the Filipino community of Vancouver duration of this incredible difficult moment,” Sim wrote.
