A shiver of sharks in danger of extinction and sand bar has been swimming near the area for years, attracting viewers who approach sharks and take supplications from conservation groups so that the authorities separate people from the wild animal.

In recently, the waters attracted great crowds that were seen swimming with the sharks. Some threw from their tails and threw food. The Israeli media have transmitted several videos in the last days that Sharms show swimming near the bathers, including children. A video seemed to show a swimmer being attacked.

In a Facebook post, a woman identified by the Israeli media as Tzach’s wife, said she had entered the waters with snorkeling equipment and an underwater camera. It was not the first time he swam in this part of the sea, he said.

“Barak entered the water to dive and document the sharks, not feed them or play with them,” Sarit Tzach wrote. She said a fisherman who was with her husband said she didn’t touch them or fed them.

When the sharks approached too much, he said, he used the stick held by his camera to “gently distance them.” The fisherman called Tzach back to the shore and when he returned slowly he was attacked, Sarit Tzach wrote.
