First in Fox: The White House is launching a new series of “Road To Independence” conferences that leads to the 250 birthday of the United States, and the Trump administration has planned a year of festivities to commemorate it.
The series, launched the same day as the first commitment of the revolutionary war in 1775, will commemorate important moments in American history before the start of the Trump administration of a full year of festivities that will be launched in Memorial.
The videos are taking place in an association between the Department of Education and Hillsdale College, whose president appeared in an introductory video that launched the series.
“President Trump wishes to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the declaration of independence next year with an open heart,” said Hillsdale president Larry P. Arnn, in his introductory video. “One of the things we must do to commemorate anything, commemorate simply remembering together, we first have to know the thing. We cannot remember very well if we do not know very well. So, part of the purpose of this series of conferences is to remember.”

The “Road To Independence” videos series will culminate with the beginning of the one -year festivities of the Trump administration in honor of the 250 birthday of the United States.
In January, President Donald Trump signed an executive order that established a White House working group to lead the planning and execution of this “extraordinary celebration.” The White House plans to interact with the entire federal government, state and local governments, the private sector, non -profit organizations and educational institutions.
The introductory message of RNA, launching the series of videos on Saturday, was also combined with the first episode of the series of videos that commemorates the battle of Lexington and Concord. The additional episodes, which will be shared on the White House website, will be published regularly to commemorate significant events related to the United States Foundation.

In addition to the two videos of the series, the White House also commemorates the beginning of the United States struggle for independence this weekend with a reading of the poem “Paul Revere’s Ride” by the press secretary of the White House Karoline Leavitt, which will be published on social networks. The poem commemorates Paul’s midnight trip on April 18, 1775, when his horse touches at night to warn Massusetts settlers to advance British troops.
“President Trump signed an executive order to create the Task Force America 250 because he firmly feels for honoring the inheritance of our nation before this monumental anniversary,” Leavitt told Fox News Digital. “The series of videos ‘road to independence’ will bring the incredible history of our country to the public while we prepare to celebrate the United States together in July 2026”.
