An illegal Venezuelan foreigner, and alleged leader of the violent gang of Aragua, was arrested in Los Angeles last week, Trump administration told Fox News on Monday.
Yonaiker Gallegos, who had been using the name of Yoniaker (sic) Rafel Martínez-Ramos, was already in local custody in Los Angeles County due to waste charges due to waste by blank checks and possession of misleading government identification.
He was located in National Security Research (HSI) on April 22, according to a senior Trump administration official. The agents were able to determine that Martínez-Ros was probably a false identity after obtaining information about the elements in their possession when it was arrested by local authorities.
The Venezuelan government uses the Tren El Aragua train as representatives to undermine the public security of the United States, according to the Evaluation of the FBI.

He was positively identified as Gallegos on April 23 after the National HSI gang unit obeyed photos of Martinez-Ramos tattoos and booking photos.
Analysts were also able to locate their publications and images on social networks, which finally confirmed their real identity such as Yonaiker Gallegos through facial recognition technology, said the official.

He was arrested on April 25 for violations of Title 8 (immigration), according to the senior official, who also said he was “identified as a TDA leader based in California.”
