Video shows FSU students hiding during mass shooting: ‘I’m scared’

A heartbreaking video captured the students of the Florida State University that hide under a desk on the campus, the mass shooting took place on Thursday.

“I am afraid,” a woman was heard in the tasks of image by an English graduate student inside the William Johnston building on the campus.

“Attention! This is a FSU alert,” a pre -recorded voice was added in a message that reproduces on a strong speaker. “There is a dangerous or attractive situation on the campus. Take it now in a safe location. The FSU police are responding. He continues to alert.”

You could hear a woman sobbing while crawling under a desk to join other students.

The student who carries the video, identified as Sophia Ziemer, told TMX News that “we met people of artistic education that allowed us to enter their conference meeting room” and “why we could take refuge.”

Phoenix Ikner, a 20 -year -old who is believed to be a student at Florida State University, was identified as a suspect in Thursday’s mass shooting, who left two dead and six others killed.

The reason for the attack is still uncle.

The Tallahassee school now allows students on Friday to recover their personal belongings of buildings on campus.

“The University will celebrate a vigil for victims at 5 pm on Friday, April 18 in Langford Green in front of the unconquered statue,” he said too.

The president of the FSU, Richard McCullough, described the shooting as an “act of tragic and sensory violence in the heart of our campus.”

“At lunch, an active shooter opened fire in the students’ union,” he wrote in X on Thursday.

“We are disconsolate. We are afflicted by the families, friends and loved ones of the lost. We are maintaining close to those who are hooked, and we are standing to all those who are suffering,” he added.
