The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zenskyy, expressed skepticism about the announcement of Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday that Russia would observe a temporary duration of high the fire of the Easter holidays.

After the announcement, Zenskyy published in X that Air Raid alerts were playing in Ukraine, and added that Russian attack drones were detected in the heavens.

“Shahed drones in our skies reveal Putin’s true attitude towards Easter and human life,” he wrote.

The Kremlin shared on Saturday a video in which Putin said: “Guided by humanitarian considerations, today from 6:00 p.m. to 00:00, from Sunday to Monday, the Russian side declares a Easter truce.”

He later added that Russia had “ignored the proposal of” United States “for a truce of 30 days after Ukraine” replied positively. “

“If Russia is now suddenly ready to really participate in a complete and unconditional silence format, Ukraine will act accordingly, reflecting Russia’s actions,” Zenskyy said. “Silence in response to silence, defensive attacks in response to attacks.”

He said that if a high Easter fire is strengthened, he proposes to extend it.

“That is what will reveal the true intentions of Russia, because 30 hours are enough to appear in the headlines, but not for genuine confidence construction measures,” he said. “Thirty days could give peace a chance.”

Zenskyy later Aggregate in x“From now on, the conformity with the reports of the commander in chief, the continuous Russian assault operations in several frontline sectors, and the Russian artillery fire has not decreased. Therefore, there is no confidence in the words that come from Moscow. Anything.

“Ukraine defense forces will act rationally, responding in a child. Each Russian strike will be with an adequate response.”

Late on Saturday, Zenskyy wrote that “Putin Easter statements did not extend to” the regions of Kursk and Belgorod of Ukraine, where he said that “hostilities continue, and Russian attacks persist. Be heard of what remains without being heard from the symptoms, without heartless, without knowing it, without knowing it, it is not yet knowing it, without knowing it, without knowing it, without knowing it, without knowing it, without knowing it, without knowing it, without knowing it, without knowing it, without knowing it, without knowing it, without knowing it, Stilly of Stilly of Stilly by Stilly Stilly Stilly of Stilly of Still or Still Bearsless of the front.

He acknowledged: “In some areas, the situation has become quieter.”

Zenskyy said that “the proposal of a total and unconditional silence of 30 days remains on the table: the answer must come from Moscow. Ukraine, along with our partners, is ready to move towards peace is required, but the same.”

The war has been unleashed for more than three years and cost the lives of tens of thousands of people on both sides after Russia invaded the sovereign country in February 2022.

The announcement of a high temporary fire occurs after President Donald Trump said Thursday that an 80 -page mineral agreement will sign with Ukraine in a week. The secretary of the Treasury, Scott Besent, said later that he would probably be signed on April 26.

The details about the agreement are still relatively unknown, although recent Bloomberg reports have suggested that the United States has supported their reimbursement demands for their help in the Ukraine fight against Russia from $ 300 billion to $ 100 billion.

On Friday, Trump said the United States “will only take a pass” in the peace efforts for Ukraine if Russian President Vladimir Putin refuses to accept the terms of high fire.

“If, for some reason, one of the two parts makes it very difficult, we will say:” You are silly, you are dumb, you are horrible people, “and we are going to take a pass,” Trump told journalists. “But I hope we win” T to do that. “
