The video of the incident involved by the officer among the wife of Weezer Scott Shrner, Jillian Lauren Shrner, has been released by the Los Angeles Police Department.
The authorities shared the video at the beginning of this month, with Bodycam Security and Images Clips captured the incident of April 8 outside his Eagle Rock home.
Security images show Shrner emerging barefoot from his residence with a gun in his hand and then walking through the backyard, looking over the area.
“While they were in the backyard of that residence, the officers saw a woman in a adjacent backyard armed with a gun,” said Captain Alex Chogyoji, an officer in command of the LAPD media relations division, explained on the video page.

Next, Shrner looks at a different security camera angle from the front courtyard, a gun still in his hand, walking along the patio and towards the road to the street.
“The officers gave Shrner repeated verbal orders to drop the gun. However, she did not comply. Moments later, Shrner accelerated the gun, told the officers and shot, which resulted in an officer involved in shots,” Choggeoji said.
Then, the video shows what Chogyoji described, with bodycam images of an officer in the backyard in front of the fence and one can hear “lower the weapon!”
On the radio, another officer says that “I have an armed resident in the direction” just before Shrner is ordered several more times to “lower the weapon!” An officer Radios in a 415, which shows that he is “disturbing peace” in the video of Bodycam subtitled.

More screams are heard for Shrner to lower the weapon for several seconds, including “Madam, we are trying to help him!” The repeated command of “Lady, leaves the gun!”
Shrner is warned again several more times, including: “Leave the weapon, they will shoot you … It’s the police.”
After another moment, an officer says: “Hey, she only pointed it out. Not with us, but she only lifted it. Oh, accumulated it” and then the shots are shot and some say that an officer needs help! ”
The security video from the front of the house also shows Shrner standing on the road that leads to the street before turning and walking back to the house.

“Shrner was beaten by shooting and fled to his residence,” Chotagyoji said in the video.
The audio of a 911 call placed after the incident presents an unidentified female voice that says: “Oh, there were three men, he says there were three men and one of them shot him and the police are looking for him right now. But they told me not to look out the window.”
It is mentioned on which side a door was, and then Shrner can be listening: “I had my gun. And he said, he left that gun, left that gun. I said for your f -king weapon and there he shot me.”
The 911 operator asks the unidentified woman if they know where the man was, and Shrner mentions that there are three men on the other side of the fence.

Chotogyji said that after an hour, Shrner left his residence and was tasks in custody “without more incident.”
The Bodycam video of that officer shows Shrner lying face down on the street and being handcuffed.
“Later it was determined that Shrner was not involved in the initial blow and escape incident and lived real in the residence in which he was seen,” Chogioji explained. Shrner was treated in a local hospital, and it was determined that he would require extended treatment and hospital admission.
No officer were injured during the shooting.

The evidence recovered in the scene included a 9 mm glock pistol and a worn cartridge housing.
Shrner was hired in the absence of murder attempt with a bond established for $ 1 million by the Los Angeles Sheriff and then released on bail.
She must return to the Court on April 30, 2025.

A Weezer representative did not respond immediately to the request for Fox News Digital comments.
Scott Letterly went to his wife’s incident in a comment to the New York Post the next day, saying: “She is fine, thanks for asking.” Hi andherwise remained with tight lips as he walked to his four dogs, and added: “See you in Coachella!”
Weezer acted at the Music Festival that weekend, without more mention of the situation.
