The president of the United States says that an agreement is “very close”, since he criticizes the leader of Russia.

Donald Trump promised to end the Ukraine War on the first day of his presidency of the United States.

Then his special envoy promised to finish it in the first 100 days.

The second self -imposed deadline is days away, without a deal in view.

But Trump’s first face to face with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy since an explosion of the Oval office in February seems to have approached Washington and kyiv one more step.

So how close is peace in Ukraine?
