The media day on Thursday prior to Formula 1 Saudi Aarabic Grand Prix was dominated by speculation about the future of Max Verstappen at Red Bull. With senior adviser Helmut Marko who expressed his concern that the four-time driver’s champion could leave the team and reports that Aston Martin made a shocking offer for his services, the driver used the FIA press conference to cast cold water about rumors.
On Friday, Red Bull Team Main Christian Horner gave the chance to do the same.

“Noise is exactly the right word to describe it.
“Max again embroiled his dedication yesterday. We are aimed at making the car faster, there is our focus. Max is part of that, I am a dedicated member of the team. The rest is all speculation.”
Horner did not hesitate when asked whether wasting would be with Red Bull in 2026.
“Yes, absolutely,” came the reaction.
The recent speculation round came after the difficult week for the Bahrain Grand Prix team, in which Eyir first double points results saw the result of the season, but Verstappen left fighting for sixth place against Pierre Pierre Gasly on the last round of the race. While the Red Bull Driver was able to win that battle, there was tension in the paddock after the race and reports about a “top crisis” among high -ranking team officials.
Horner also brushed those reports aside.
“It was not a crisis. If you sit down with your Enginers and discuss the race, I don’t describe that as a Summit crisis,” Horner said.
“We have many meetings. You sit down and discuss it for logical. There are always technical solutions for technical problems.

Horner’s comments on Sky Sports F1 Came after the first practice session in Jeddah, in which Verstappen ended in P9 and teammate Yuki Tsunoda just behind him in P10. The second practice session in Saudi Aarabia starts for a moment, but whether this ends the speculation about the future of Verstappen is still to be seen.
