The family of a missing banker in New York who disappeared while he was on vacation in Spain about a month ago confirmed the remains that Washore belongs to the 37 -year -old man.
“With a deep sadness that I speak of the death of my youngest son Grant,” wrote Michael Barr, Grant Barr’s father, in a publication on his Facebook page.
Grant Barr stayed with friends and family on Estepona on the Costa del Sol when he disappeared on January 28, according to the Spanish eye.
His pants and passport were also found near a beach in a resort, shortly after he was reported as missing, which caused a massive search, the exit reported.

The media reported that Barr’s body washed on a beach on March 3, but his family was notified until April 4, when the remains were identified, after they had a weekly brief.
Michael Barr added that the remains on the beach were confirmed as their son’s through DNA.
“As a father, my world will never be the same; the same can be true for all who knew and loved him. I ask God for strength to continue, with courage and love in my heart. And I thank for the prayers and children of all whores.

Barr had traveled to Spain for a navigation getaway after going through a difficult breakup, according to his father, and added that they were in an “emotional state” and could have fought with reality.
“Hello, I loved navigation. He was a certified paratrooper and had legs working on his pilot’s license. He had a gigantic thirst for life,” said Barr’s father, sharing an image of his son on Facebook.
The authorities initially ruled their cause of death as drowning, thought that exact circumstances remain uncle.
James Barr, Grant’s brother, told The Spanish Eye that his brother’s remains were released on Friday “after a week long round between the courts and the forensic office.”

“While the thoughts of a stage of sausage cases came to mind from time to time, none of us really thought that this would be the result,” said James Barr.
James Barr also shared his frustration for the delay in the notification, saying: “It means that the last time we were looking for two weeks that were, Alreamy found, however they not only suggested that some were watching.”
The Civil Guard and the Police of Spain have not commented on the case.
Barr worked at the Bank of New York Mellon Corporation and previously worked for Citibank, according to his LinkedIn page.

The United States Department of State also confirmed Barr’s pass to Fox News Digital and said “offer our most sincere condolences to the family for their loss.”
